The farm is 230 acres of grassland, meadows and areas of wild flowers for the bees. It is wonderful for peaceful walks, bird watching and picnics. The suspension bridge takes you into water meadows rich in plants and wildlife, along the Avon Valley footpath and into the New Forest. Barn Owls nest in the farmyard and birds regularly seen include Herons, Kingfishers, many birds of prey, Warblers, Water rail and all types of water fowl and waders.
Burgate Manor Farm is situated on the banks of the Hampshire Avon, with specimen Barbel, Chub, Roach, Pike and Carp. Fishing tickets available.
